Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your name — shown to the truck so they can hand you the right order.
• Your phone number — used to text you order updates. Optional; without it you'll only get in-app and push notifications.
• Your order history — items, prices, times, and pickup codes.
• A device identifier — a random ID stored in your browser so we can show you your own orders. It is not tied to your identity and we don't use it for advertising.
• A push notification subscription — only if you turn notifications on. You can revoke this any time in your browser or phone settings.

What we don't collect

We never see or store your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We don't track your location, and we don't sell your information to anyone.

Who we share it with

• The food truck you ordered from — your name, order, and pickup code, so they can prepare and hand over your food.
• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
• Twilio — sends the SMS order updates, and therefore receives your phone number and the message.
• Supabase — hosts our database and backend.

That's the full list. We don't share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Order records are retained while the service operates, for support and accounting. Ask us to delete your personal information and we will, except where we're required to retain transaction records.

Your choices

• Turn off push notifications any time in your browser or device settings.
• Reply STOP to any SMS to stop receiving texts.
• Email us to request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your data.

Children

This service is intended for university students and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
